City of Fallon Festivities

The City of Fallon welcomes you to a weekend of holiday festivities, Dec. 7-8. Join Mayor Ken Tedford Councilman Bob Erickson, Councilman James Richardson and Councilwoman Kelly Frost for cookie decorating and refreshments in a festive open house at City Hall and the Douglass House. Then, make your way to Historic Downtown Maine Street for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Friday at 6 p.m. Enjoy a weekend craft fair by Churchill County Middle School, a holiday art show by Sagebrush Sisters and a Santa’s Wonderland! Annual Fire Hydrant Testing April 22 – May 11, 2018

The City of Fallon and the Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants during the evenings in April and May. The annual testing is vitally important to ensure the system is functioning properly and is one of many requirements that the Fire Department must complete in order to maintain its ISO Class 1 rating. Maintaining an ISO Class 1 rating can help to reduce insurance rates that homeowners pay within the City.
